DO NOT SEND BITCOIN (OR ANY TYPE OF CRYPTOCURRENCIES) TO THESE SCAMS!

The most significant factor that leads individuals to become a victim of scams is excessive attraction. If the investments sound too good to be true, then you should always exercise caution. Although, in some situations, it is a guaranteed scam. It is a guaranteed scam when the scammer guarantees a profitable return or any similar upside.

Although these scammers either typically introduce themselves in a deceiving manner or propose an unrealistic opportunity that may seem attractive.

In some cases, scammers disguise themselves as known individuals in the crypto-industry to gain your trust. They conduct this disguise through many platforms such as Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and emails. Some scammers go to the extent of portraying a “verified” symbol on these platforms or spoof their email to deceive their victims. The disguise makes it difficult to distinguish if you do not scrutinize the sources. Nonetheless, these scammers will, at some point, propose an “opportunity” that guarantees you an attractive upside. This indicator alone is enough as a red flag and will help you avoid getting scammed.

In any market or services related to markets, no entity is capable of promising or guaranteeing a profitable return. Some suspects will attempt to make the scenario rather complex to make it difficult for the victim to validate their reasons. Considering the crypto-industry is still new to some people, they will lack the knowledge in areas such as mining, staking, or any network related factors. The suspect will use those factors in their scenarios. Any participation in the network should be done only by you and only you.

Then you have false or exaggerated marketing. Whether it is a scam or falsified marketing, the motive is to protect your holdings. At times marketing can be conducted by a crypto asset or service. In some cases, these marketing campaigns involved celebrities or individuals with a significant amount of fans. These individuals are used to seem more “influential.” Most times, they lack the knowledge of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Do your research and do not invest based on marketing campaigns.

Understanding the cases above will help you avoid being a victim of a scam. Always do your research on both pros and cons. When it’s too good, then exercise extreme caution. A business’s main motive is to invest in attraction to sell, although the main investment motive is to invest in knowledge for the potential of your future goals.
